For six months of the year, the Northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, while the Southern hemisphere is tilted away. For the next six months, the situation is reversed.
Whichever hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun experiences more energy, and warms up, while the hemisphere tilted away receives less energy and cools down.
This tilt also explains why the days are longer in the summer and then shorter in the winter.
It’s soon summer in the Northern Hemisphere and time to plan for next winter. Before summer time we are busy in our office to have talks with our clients when up-dating our De-icing e-Learning course for next winter season.
The course is designed in accordance with the International requirements and recommendations to cover theoretical part of the training and we want to ensure that learners will like our pedagogical approach too. Read more ->.
So, invitations for that workshop is on the way and are looking forward to have course ready right after summer months when annual training takes place.
