PRESS RELEASE – AirportCollege.com – for immediate release 11th of March 2019

Helsinki, Finland – Airport College International and ULD CARE have launched free video tools for the air cargo industry, ULD IN 60 SECONDS.

The concept includes series of instructional videos about ULD inspection, handling and storage. The Container Inspection and Pallet Build Up videos are the first two releases currently available in 15 different languages. The service is available here: https://ULD60seconds.com

“ULD60Seconds can be used as part of training as well as for general viewing on the in-house video systems that are found in many cargo and passenger terminals these days,” says Airport College International CEO Pertti Mero. “Training is the critical piece of the puzzle in the safe ULD handling and our 60 second long videos provide with basic principles of safe and efficient ULD operations.”

“It does not take too long to inspect a ULD’ is our key message to operational staff when preparing ULDs to the flight,” says ULD CARE Vice President Bob Rogers. “Container Inspection and Pallet Build up are the first two releases, to be followed by topics such as Pallet Inspection and Straps Inspection during the remainder of 2019. The concept has been developed in association with Finnair Cargo and we want to share this free of charge globally,” adds Rogers.
