Cyberattacks are an evolving threat from which all parties in the aviation industry need to protect themselves. The challenge is that cyberattacks come in many different ways and channels. Simple spam emails may allow viruses into the systems, while a more aggressive attacks may cause a distributed denial of service and shutting down the network.
Employee’s behavior has a big impact to information security in all organisations. Information security culture (ISC) needs to be built and improved continuously as it′s a never ending process, a cycle of evaluation and change. Authors are stating that you can manage the information security culture if following five steps will be taken: pre-evaluation, strategic planning, operative planning, implementation and post-evaluation.
″Information Security Culture is a pattern of behavior in an organisation that contribute to the protection of information of all kinds.″
We at Airport College are actively supporting all parties by providing training solutions for better security culture and safer aviation. If you want to know more how we have helped our clients, please drop me a mail.

P.S. Please remember that a well-trained employee can even stop the cyberattack!
